Intumescent Fire Resistant Glazing Tape
BWF Certifire (certificate no. CF297) approved intumescent glazing tapes tested to BS476, EN1364 and EN1634 for defined periods of 30 and 60 minute resistance to the passage of fire in timber doors and screens.
Hodgson Sealants Firestrip 30 and Firestrip 60 intumescent glazing strip sealants are tested and approved for use with various fire resistant glass types as part of a system, in order to acheive the specified rating required as detailed in their CF297 Certifire document.
This certificate of approval from Certifire relates to the fire resistance of various Firestrip glazing methods when used in timber screens and timber door leaves, for a period of 30 or 60 minutes fire resistance, as defined in BS476: Part 22: 1987 subject to conditions.
