Emergency repair film is developed to provide a fast and cost-effective repair to broken window glass, doors, partition glass and mirrors.
Emergency repair film uses a semi rigid extremely tough APET film combined with an aggressive solvent acrylic adhesive that will bond to the glass permanently and give 85% light transmission.
The adhesive is lined with glassine coated paper having a printed grid pattern on the outer side to help cut the film to size.
Size: 500mm x 15m. Thickness: 175 microns.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES:
Surfaces must be clean, dry, free from grease and dirt. Recommended cleaning agent is Propan-2-ol. {IPA}.
Please note manufacturers safety instructions should be followed, and customers are recommended to ensure compatibility of the solvent and their substrate. Ideal bonding substrates are those which are: clean, dry, flat, smooth, dust free and non-porous.
Low temperatures may increase the risk of condensation, reducing the tack of the product. Life expectancy will vary with temperature and humidity. Product may be applied by hand direct from a roll applying even pressure. The information supplied is accurate to the best of our knowledge and is based upon all current data available to it.
