Brushed Aluminium Melaphone Speech Panel - Model 1001

During this tough period of Coronavirus, melaphone is specifically designed to allow sterile communication with a high degree of vision and safety. There is no thru-air flow, therefore, no transmission of germs, draughts or dust. Speech is transmitted through a transparent diaphragm which also gives protection against noxious sprays.



Melaphone is fitted with a polycarbonate guard which has a very high impact strength thereby providing a considerable degree of physical security against assault and snatch.

The melaphone stainless steel mesh guard cover gives considerable additional protection to the user and to the melaphone unit. It inhibits determined damage to the sensitive diaphragm without impairing the qualities of speech or viewing. The guard covers are easily fitted and maintained. Melaphone is supplied in two sizes – small circular, large circular.

Ideal for counters or information desks in hospitals, surgeries, railway stations, pharmacies, banks, finance offices, gatehouses and prisons where safe communication is paramount.

Recommended for up to 10mm thick glass.
