Original DON CARLOS crescent blade moon knife. An indispensable tool for traditional lead or brass glazing. In came glass work the lead came can be cut without its channels being crushed. The rounded edge of the blade rocks as it cuts, gradually cutting the came without distorting it. The sharp point can then be used to scrape away dried putty or window cement from finished panels.
The DON CARLOS crescent shaped blade is also great for removing beading without causing any visible damage. The thin blade can be used to get into the seams of glass panel beadings in uPVC frames and then pry them off. They can also be used to trim weld lines and rods, beading, and seals during uPVC window installation.
Made from forged carbon steel blade with light-coloured wooden handle. This is a genuine product! Its authenticity can be identified by the spade logo on the blade.
